Routing received documents to specified lines when optional extra G3 line is equipped

This machine can route received documents to specified lines when optional extra G3 line is equipped.

When optional G3 line is equipped, you can route received documents separately for each line. You need to register a SUB code for each line prior to using this function.

Register "1" for G3-1, "2" for G3-2 and "3" for G3-3.

You need to register Fax destinations, Internet Fax destinations, IP-Fax destinations, e-mail destinations, and folder destinations as a transmission destinations of the Personal Box or end receiver of the Transfer Box. This function can only be used when all settings have been completed.

Important

  • The optional extra G3 interface unit is required to use this function.

  • You must set the Personal or Transfer Box and register a transmission destination or end receiver beforehand.

  • This function is not available when you set received documents to be delivered to the network delivery server.

Note

  • This function is not available if the Information Box is set.

  • When the dialed number matches the SUB Code programmed in the Personal Box, if the destinations are not programmed, this function does not work. For details about Personal Box, see “General Settings” and “Box Settings”.

  • Documents received through Internet Fax and IP-Fax cannot be routed.

  • You can route received documents through line G3-1 with the User Parameter (switch 32, bit 4) in the Parameter Setting. For details, see “Parameter Settings”.

  • You can route received documents through line G3-2 with the User Parameter (switch 32, bit 5) in the Parameter Setting. For details, see “Parameter Settings”.

  • You can route received documents through line G3-3 with the User Parameter (switch 32, bit 6) in the Parameter Setting. For details, see “Parameter Settings”.
